Types of Services

Traditional Talk Therapy
Growth and Exploration of Meaning
Traditional Talk Therapy provides a space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. This approach focuses on understanding the patterns and narratives that shape your life, helping you gain clarity and insight into the challenges you face. While each session is unique to your needs, the goal is to foster meaningful conversations that encourage growth, self-awareness, validation, and healing. Together, we’ll work to create a foundation for lasting change through genuine dialogue and collaboration.

Trauma Therapy
Deeper insights and healing
Trauma Therapy focuses on helping you process and heal from the effects of past experiences that may feel overwhelming or unresolved. This approach gently explores how trauma has shaped your emotions, behaviors, and relationships, using proven techniques like somatically informed EMDR and Internal Family Systems. Together, we’ll create a safe and compassionate space to reconnect with your inner strength, foster resilience, and work towards reclaiming a sense of balance and peace in your life. Each journey is unique, and the focus is on honoring your pace and needs as you move toward healing.

Somatic/Body-Oriented Therapy
Connecting Mind and Body
Mindfulness/Body-Oriented Therapy emphasizes the connection between the mind and body as a pathway to healing. This approach helps you tune into the sensations, emotions, and patterns stored within your body to better understand how they influence your thoughts and behaviors. Each person’s experience is unique—this is about discovering your personal rhythm and uncovering the wisdom your body holds, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. Together, we’ll work to foster balance, self-compassion, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Clinical Supervision
Expanding Knowledge in Practice
Clinical supervision offers a collaborative and supportive space for therapists to deepen their skills, enhance self-awareness, and navigate the complexities of clinical practice. Grounded in a trauma-informed and integrative perspective, this service emphasizes reflective exploration of casework, ethical considerations, and professional growth. Whether you’re seeking guidance on therapeutic approaches, building client relationships, or managing challenges, supervision is tailored to your unique development as a clinician. Together, we’ll foster a foundation of confidence, curiosity, and continued learning to support your work and the clients you serve.
Areas of Focus
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s most challenging moments with compassion and care. That includes everything from life transitions, break-ups and other situational challenges, to trauma, deep healing to increase life satisfaction, and self-actualization.

Here are my main areas of expertise and focus of continued training.
-
Trauma and PTSD: This includes breaches of trust (abuse, neglect, infidelity, etc), natural disaster, or any situation that still carries charge in your memories and/or creates distress in your nervous system. You can read more about types of trauma here.
-
Complex Trauma: multiple occurrences of trauma occurring over the lifespan that often manifests as mood regulation challenges, not caring, numbness, perfectionism, overthinking and much more.
-
LGBT Related Issues: Everything from identity development (sexual and gender) effects of oppression, bullying and all of its clinical presentations.
The below are often by-products of the above, but not always and can be treated separately:
-
Shame: Feelings of not being good enough, which often lead to shutting down a non-stop inner-critic and perfectionism.
-
Anxiety and Depression: Understanding and addressing the root causes of overwhelming emotions to foster balance and calm.
-
Addiction and Substance Use: Gently uncovering the protective behaviors that may feel destructive and creating pathways toward healthier coping strategies.
-
Disordered Eating: Developing a better relationship with food and the body.
-
Self-Esteem and Body Image: Cultivating a healthier relationship with yourself by addressing the thoughts and beliefs that hold you back.
-
Life Transitions: Guiding you through significant changes with clarity and confidence -- break-ups, moving, new jobs or relationships, families, and more.
-
Relationship Challenges: Navigating connections with others, whether through repairing dynamics or fostering deeper understanding.

No matter where you’re starting, my goal is to create a safe and affirming space where your experiences are validated, and your healing journey feels both supported and sustainable.
